Burberry - Ideas (3)

I'm looking forward to developing this idea from my Burberry project the most. I am currently experimenting with different colors, cuffs, pockets and belts for this garment. I plan to use a thick cotton gabardine fabric, however this still has not yet been finalised.

Burberry - Ideas (2)

This is another of my designs based on Burberry. I have annotated it with the construction methods I plan to use, however this all has room to change when I look in to developing my idea.

Burberry - Ideas

My current project is based on Burberry, this is one of my ideas. For this I plan to use two different shades of colours. In my development I will look at fabrics and different construction methods.

Burberry - Research

As part of the research for my latest project based around Burberry, I researched existing products and sketched my own version. I thought this was necessary for me understand the shape of existing winter garments and incorporate this in to my own designs.

Vivienne Westwood

For my GCSE coursework I studied Vivienne Westwood. Westwood is great inspiration to me due to the individuality she brings across using a variety of shapes, colours, patterns and fabrics. This is my own creation using her as my inspiration.

Alexander McQueen - Construction

I have included a page of my development from my Alexander McQueen coursework. Here you can see some examples of pockets, smocking and gathering. I used this as part of my development before designing my final idea.

Alexander McQueen - Ideas

Here are two of my designs for my Alexander McQueen project. When designing I like using paint as my media for adding colour, I have also included fabric samples which I tested later on in my coursework. As well as this I experimented with shape, colour and pattern.
